Gangs,violence, and the streets we all live in...

I decided to talk about gangs,violence, and the streets. My friend was gunned down December 19,2009, along with a male friend, just a block up from her house.Brutally shot, she survived 5 hrs....fighting for her life..a second breathe of air. I held her, heart full of pain and anger. Now a month later still we wait as family and friends looking for closure...Wow just January 24th,2010, made 3yrs. my daughter's father been gone(Antonia Sotmayor...shot 12 times January 24th,2007,by york city police)...As if that wasnt enough..when is enough..enough?Lives taking away in seconds, mothers left with questions and no answers, rumors flooding the area nobody knows right from wrong...it seems all unreal.That quick?...Days after everyone forgets all about what happened...ON TO THE NEXT--->Until something else happens anther young,intelligent,precise life taking away, another mother childless, and child motherless, father gone? When is enough...ENOUGH? What when we all just kill ourselves (cops to?), we must protect and serve ourselves...Be a community live for the future and what our child have to offer ths world we live in and what their chid's child will be...who will they look up to?(If not you?)
